EcoRoads' is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada's oilfield services hub.  The company owns the patented Engineered Road Wood Fibre (ERWF) - a new road and work platform construction technology which enables the building of year round all-weather roads to remote worksites.  This innovative product is of particular interest to companies in the mineral, oil and gas and power distribution sectors which operate in isolated, challenging and environmentally sensitive terrains. 

ERWF is a 100% natural native wood product consisting of strands of wood fibre and wood particles.  When installed, ERWF becomes a light weight, permeable surface structure with exceptional load bearing characteristics.
