A "spin out" of Savannah Diamonds, Dhahabu (Gold in Swahili) has indentified and acquired ground of potential interest for a range of minerals (excluding diamonds) in Tanzania, considered a highly prospective, under explored jurisdiction.   Re-interpretation of the known geology of Tanzania from published research, including geomorphology, digital terrain modelling and geophysical interpretation, is currently being conducted with the benefit of Dhahabu's proprietary data sets.

The company focuses mainly on the Tanzania's Archaean Craton and its Proterozoic surrounds, although younger geological areas in the south and west of the country are also be of interest.
