Allan founded Clarity in 1996 and is responsible for the Clarity Group's overall strategic direction.  He has wide ranging experience in international venture development spanning a number of sectors including minerals, energy, energy services and technology. 

Allan's background in business and corporate law, in particular international transactions, capital markets, M&A and bankruptcy has equipped him for his day to day responsibilities overseeing acquisitions and financings. Allan has lived and worked in Africa and the Middle East but now resides in London.

He is the founder and a significant shareholder of African Minerals Limited, which was admitted to the London Stock Exchange's AIM Market in early 2005 and has a current market capitalization of over US$2.5bn. Allan chairs Clarity Minerals investment committee..
