Christopher runs the creative industry division of Clarity Capital and provides strategic guidance for Clarity's use of new media. He started his professional career as a journalist in Canada before joining the Press Association (PA), UK in the fall of 1997. He worked with PA New Media developing Ananova, the world's first news avatar and one of the most celebrated multimedia projects on the Web.
He spent three years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he worked as a management consultant for Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE). In early 2003 he started Smoothmedia Inc which consults to a range of corporate and government clients developing websites, performing system integration, and producing media and film.
In 2005 he left for London to pursue a PhD in Sociology/Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London. Chris currently lectures at and leads the online journalism module for over 400 MA students in the Department of Journalism, City University, London.
