VP Business Development

David’s primary mandate is the strategic sale and IPO of select Clarity companies as well as new acquisitions. He has degrees in Geological Engineering and an MBA. David has lived in Santiago, Chile where he was Gerente Ejectutivo for Noranda Chile Ltda. Earlier in his career David was Vice-President of Potash Marketing for Noranda, based in the USA, and has served as Vice-President of Novicourt Inc.; a publicly listed mining subsidiary of Noranda . He spent 25 years with Noranda/Falconbridge/Xstrata and was most recently Director of Corporate Development for Xstrata Zinc Canada. He has led and worked on numerous resource transactions, most recently the sale of properties in Canada & Mexico and the ongoing discovery of significant zinc resources at Xstrata's Pallas Green project in Ireland. David has experience in numerous commodities and jurisdictions including Canada, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Ireland, and DRC. He is based in Toronto.
