Don is responsible for Clarity Mineral's diamond exploration and development strategy and is the CEO of Savannah Diamonds.

After graduating as a geologist from the University of Aberdeen in 1975, Don spent 25 years working for the Anglo American/De Beers Group. An early stint in deep-level gold mining in South Africa was followed by diamond exploration and mining in Namibia, Botswana, China, Australia and Tanzania.

Don left De Beers at the end of 2000 as the Exploration Manager, Botswana and Tanzania, and spent the following two years consulting on a variety of projects.
