General Manager, Operations, Duration Gold

John has 25 years of gold mining experience, initially working at the Buffelsfontein Mine in South Africa and thereafter at Vubachikwe (Zimbabwe).  He worked with Lonrho at the Shamva mines in Zimbabwe but returned to the Vubachikwe Mine as Underground Manager in 1994.  John became Mine Manager in 1999.  He was appointed General Manager, Duration Gold in 2007.
