Vice President, Mineral Exploration

In a career spanning over 20 years, Steve has been involved in all aspects of the discovery and exploitation of economic mineral deposits. His experience ranges from grass roots exploration, definition drilling through to feasibility studies, underground mining/quarrying, to post mine environmental rehabilitation. Steve has worked in many different geological terrains across East and Southern Africa searching for a range of commodities from gold, base metals to industrial minerals.

In the mid 1990's, Steve was part of the Anglo American team that discovered two multi million ounce gold deposits in the Lake Victoria goldfields, northern Tanzania: the Chocolate Reef and Ridge 8 deposits. In 2005 ,he was contracted by Helio Resource Corp to run its Namibian operation, during which time he introduced Helio to its flagshop Saza Makongolosi Project in the Lupa Gold Field of Southern Tanzania.

Steve joined Clarity in April 2008 and is responsible for the geological aspects of all Clarity's mineral projects as well as technical support for exploration and operations.
