Clarity Capital and Duration Gold are pleased to welcome Dr. Hokonya to the position of CEO designate of the Chamber Zimbabwe.  His position will take effect from 1 September 2009.

Dr. Hokonya is a former Managing Director of Alpha Asset Management. Prior to that he held senior executive positions in a number of companies including African Banking Corporation where he was the Chief Economist. He has broad experience in policy analysis, investment management, and project finance covering a variety of sectors, including mining, insurance, and construction.  Dr. Hokonya worked in South Korea, France, Germany and the UK for Samsung Group of Companies, and in Japan and Hong Kong for KH Investment Consultants. He holds a PhD in Applied Economics, an MBA in Banking and Finance, and an Executive Diploma in Advanced Investment Management.
